Questions about our packages
Is there a minimum contract?
No. Councils pay month to month, with no minimum term and no lock-in.
Can we move from Classic to Community later?
Yes, at any time. There is no upgrade fee and nothing is rebuilt: the monthly fee changes from £30 to £45 plus VAT and the extra features are switched on.
Are there any setup or build fees?
No. There is no setup fee, no build fee and no annual fee. The monthly fee covers hosting, security, support, training, and registering and managing your .gov.uk domain.
Can our council reclaim the VAT?
Parish councils can usually reclaim VAT on their costs. Check with your RFO or internal auditor if you are unsure how it applies to your council.
Do both packages include the content management system?
Yes. Both Classic and Community include the CMS, free training and unlimited UK support. Community adds unlimited pages and news, an events calendar, newsletters, social sharing and custom forms.
